Description: 

Location:  Lion's Camp Pride in New Durham

We bring high school students together from across the state for a week of experiential activities designed to help them explore their values, relationships and coping strategies, and connect with their own inner strength while connecting with other young people. 

Throughout the week, we also offer mini-workshops which are designed to provide current and accurate information on specific topics relevant to teens such as stress and time management, alcohol and drug misuse, dating violence, reproductive health, suicide prevention and so forth.

Description: 
C.A.K.E. (Creative Arts At Kene) encourages campers to explore new ways to express themselves through their interest in the arts. Campers select their own classes from a long list ranging from creative writing to costuming. The last week of camp is a celebration of the visual and performing arts. Campers will display their visual art creations in an art exhibit. Performances will be presented at the Colonial Theatre and the MoCo Blackbox Theatre. Festival Week is the perfect way for campers to share their talents with their families!

Eragon
Eragon is an orphaned farm boy whose destiny is sealed forever when a mystic stone chooses him for its keeper. This is no ordinary stone; this is the last surviving egg of the dragon race. Eragon is now the new Dragon Rider, the boy who will be a savior to the repressed peoples of the Kingdom. The Kingdom is ruled by the wicked King Galbatorix and his evil wizard Durza. Eragon, together with his mentor, Brom, the gracious dragon Saphira and the beautiful Princess Arya learn more about themselves, their responsibilities and their destinies. Based on the novel by Christopher Paolini.
