My Summer Job

Trevor tells his story about working at the Summer Youth Employment Program!

I’ve been working at City hall this summer
through the Summer Youth Employment Program. It’s where you get to
apply for a job within the city, and if you get selected, you get a
part-time summer job! I think it’s a pretty cool program and you get
paid! It’s a 6 week program, and it’s a great experience. Having this
on your resume might help you get a job later! But on the other hand,
it does still allow you to have a great summer. My hours this summer
were 8-12.  This allowed me to have lots of fun with my friends still,
and I was out of work for the day before some of them even got up! This
is a great program, and if you are 14-15, you should seriously consider
this opportunity. Peace
